Crime and Violence are no strangers to our society and dates back to biblical times when we were told that Cain killed his brother Abel. Criminals these days are getting more and more sophisticated as the criminals commit these crimes for various reasons. Some for ransom, others go after political figures, vulnerable women, the rich & famous, crimes of passion and even just to make a name for themselves. According to crime statistics in the U.S.A there's one crime comitted every second. It's so bad that every 5 minutes a RAPE happens, every 19 seconds a VIOLENT CRIME happens, every 2.5 minutes a SEXUAL ASSAULT happens, every 4 seconds a THEFT happens. If we don't do something now about our current crime situations, then these statistics will become a reality in St. Lucia. We would then have no one but ourselves to blame.

In our society today there's clear evidence of frustration amongst our young people for various reasons and a definite rise in criminal activities and violent crimes. Most persons are even afraid to report crimes due to fear of being targeted. These frustrations and the sense of hopelessness leads to most of the crimes being commited. No human being should fall victim to crime and violence especially our women and there needs to be a zero tolerance by the powers that be against persons who decide to engage in acts of violence.

Our police cannot be everywhere to stop crime and it's for this reason we believe that a society/citizens should take this important step to learn to protect themselves from crime & violence through Realistic Self Defense Training by enrolling in our Program.

1. DO YOU HAVE THE NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL TO DEFEND YOURSELF AGAINST ONE OF THESE CRIMES MENTIONED ABOVE?

2. DO YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO IF THE NEXT MINUTE YOU'RE CONFRONTED BY AN ATTACKER?

3. DO YOU HAVE AN EFFECTIVE PLAN TO DEAL WITH VIOLENT CRIME?

If your answer is NO to anyone of these above mentioned questions then you need to ENROLL IN OUR REALISTIC SELF DEFENSE PROGRAM URGENTLY.

Remember, effective and proper Realistic Self Defense is not an overnight thing especially to the slow learner and that's why our programs cater for everyone in need. We ask for your patience as we are prepared to stand by you every step of the way.

At the Chitolies Realistic Self Defense & Law Enforcement Tactics Centre you learn the following key strategies in Self Defense.

1. Recognizing a dangerous situation - most people are unaware of these type of situations and therefore are less prepared to defend themselves even if they may possess the ability to.

2. The Use of Psychological Defense - most people idea of self defense is to be an expert in martial arts or to possess weapons of defense like a gun, knife or stick but here we will show you that though you can use the latter means but there are instances where it is safer to talk down a would be assailant and avoid escalating a situation beyond the confines of the law

3. Excessive Force - Most persons defending themselves due to the mind set at the time would revert to the addition of extra force than what is required by law in defending oneself. In order words we don't want your rights to turn to your wrong so we will teach you how to always defend appropriately.

4. Realistic Defense - too many times persons or organizations teach civillians what is quite frankly unrealistic especially out there on the streets. Our classes or programs are not Martial Arts or Karate classes but remains strictly geared towards realistic situations as they unfold on the streets, in the homes, soceity, schools or anywhere for that fact.

5. Testing/Compliance - most people who engage in self defense do not remember much from their classes for various reasons or receive a certificate of attendance that proves nothing much. We challenge our participants to prove that they really can protect or defend themselves from a criminal by having them go through physical realistic tests.

6. Refresher Courses - We always recommend these courses because we want you to make a life long commitment to protecting or defending yourself especially as you get older. Remember the criminals are very smart and young with lots of energy.

7. Law Enforcement Tactics - These courses are geared towards teaching especially security personnel the proper way to handle basic situations when it relates to the Law. We find most companies recruit persons untrained in that regard which can result in serious problems and setbacks to the companies.
